Thanks Sam for the compliments.
As for the latest tips and tricks- the crucial point in every minimal invasive sinus procedure is reaching the membrane without tearing it.I currently use with high satisfaction the special drills cutting sideways only fabricated by Osstem or hiossen.It makes the procedure very quick.
Another tip is injecting flowable graft material instead of particles- again shortening the time period of the procedure.

Some answers to my viewers: Michael Moutsios- when we do have a perf using Miambe it is quite small therefore waiting ust a few weeks is enough before reentering the site. Colin- thickening of the sinus mebrane is not a contra indication unless the ostium is blocked. Chuck- the membrane to my opinion is crucial for bone regeneration and therefore I would not patch it with a collagen membrane unless there is a perf.

Minimally Invasive Transcrestal Sinus Elevation Procedure
The ossteotome mediated transcrestal sinus lift procedure has been used over the years for achieving lifts in situations where a minimum of 6-7mm of height of alveolar bone is present. An increase in alveolar bone height of approximately 2-3mm is expected using the traditional methods. The main challenges in the procedure are to achieve larger lifts without perforation of the sinus lining and deposit graft material in the desired location. Calcium phosphosilicate putty has been used effectively as a graft material for lateral window sinus elevation procedures. The following presentation deals with a modified ossteotome mediated technique of using CPS putty in a cartridge delivery form to achieve predictable sinus elevations of 8-10mm even in cases of extreme resorption of the alveolar ridge. It reduces the morbidity and makes the procedure more acceptable to patients compared to the lateral window approach.

Site Preparation & Osseodensification in Bone Management
Today's implant arena involves not only the understanding of procedures but also the science behind wound healing. Analysis of tomodensitometric controls following sinus grafts clearly demonstrates a quite systematic lack of homogeneity. Sinus contamination by anaerobic bacteria seems almost unavoidable during bone graft surgery, and this problem may jeopardize the healing process.The aim of this study was to characterize in a systematic way the nonhomogeneities observed at 1,2,or 3 months post surgery within allogenous sinus grafts,and to assess the possible influence of a 0.5% sterile solution of metronidazole in corporated in the sinus bonegraft.
