Course Overview
Implant therapy has gained a mainstream status for our patients. Several patients still are or become severely atrophic for neglect on their part or by failed or failing implant restorations. This leaves the up to date clinician with a dilemma. Here, we will examine the various reasons for the atrophic conditions and look at the solutions. Most of the discussion will be on the maxillary jaw, but nifty solutions exist for severely atrophic mandibles as well.
Course Objectives
1. When is it appropriate to finish a mandibular vase with 3 implants.
2. Where are extra maxillary sites conducive for implant anchorage.
3. When to consider the various prosthetic designs and materials.
