Course Overview

In this incredible time that we live in, it can be overwhelming to manage the constant change and technological advances.  Yet innovation is what drives our therapies, our evolution, our thinking outside the box to advance our capabilities making ourselves more efficient and providing optimal outcomes for our patients.  Dr. Scheyer’s 20+ years of research and education combined with his clinical experience, have influenced his passion and focus on airway driven digital workflows for interdisciplinary diagnosis and treatment planning.  The interdisciplinary team approach has allowed for a next level of clinical care and outcomes.  His leadership has been critical for his clinical team and research center and has extended to his surrounding dental network and digital dental laboratory.  All of this has allowed for a new business model for dental care that will be discussed today and is already influencing optimal patient care in Houston, Texas.  Dr. Scheyer graduated from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in Periodontics and Advanced Dental Implant Reconstructive Therapy.  His research and clinical interests include dynamic navigation, digital smile design, surgically facilitated orthodontic therapy, full arch immediate load dentistry, tissue engineering and has expertise in microsurgical mucogingival therapies utilizing gold standards and alternative therapies including recombinant and autogenous growth factors. Dr. Scheyer looks forward to sharing his interdisciplinary teams digital work flow that has been created over his years of experience in a multidisciplinary research and clinical setting.
